Planner (Metal Sheet Manufacturing / Fabrication)

Job Summary:
The Planner is responsible for scheduling and coordinating production activities to ensure timely delivery of metal sheet fabrication orders. This role manages material availability, machine capacity, and labor resources while optimizing workflow and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Prepare and maintain daily and weekly production schedules.

2.Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and shop floor teams to ensure material and resource availability.

3.Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.

4.Analyze work orders, drawings, and BOMs for accurate planning.

5.Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements.

6.Generate reports on production performance

Qualifications & Skills:

*Experience in metal sheet fabrication or manufacturing planning.

*Ability to read technical drawings and BOMs.

*Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

*Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions for fabrication projects.

*Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

*Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including process upgrades, equipment selection, and automation opportunities.

*Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.

Job Summary:
The Purchaser is responsible for sourcing and procuring raw materials, components, and services required for metal sheet manufacturing and fabrication operations. This role ensures timely availability of materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and supporting production schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

*Source and purchase raw materials (steel sheets, aluminum, hardware, consumables).

*Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.

*Issue purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure on-time supply.

*Coordinate with planning and production teams to understand material requirements.

*Monitor inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstock.

*Evaluate supplier performance and maintain approved vendor lists.

*Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Experience in purchasing within manufacturing or fabrication environments.

-Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

-Knowledge of metal materials and fabrication consumables.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required
• Maintain cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle
