Even kids can get started on becoming financially independent. Kids can make profits long before they can legitimately earn wages.
Kids ought to have two bicycles: one to ride and one to rent.

I teach kids how to be rich by the time they are age 40, 35 if they are extra bright. Most kids think they are extra bright, so they go for 35.
What should a child do with a dollar? Here’s one philosophy: It’s only a child and it’s only a dollar, so what difference does it make? Wow, what a philosophy! Where do you suppose everything starts for the future? Here’s where it starts – it starts with a child and a dollar. You say, “Well, he’s only a child once. Let him spend it all.” Well, when would you hope that would stop? When he’s fifty and broke like you?
If kids clearly see the promise, they will gladly pay the price.

GOD: Huummm
ME: On the way home, my phone
went DEAD, just
as I picked up a call....
GOD: All right
ME: And on top of it all off, when I
got home ~I
just wanted to soak my feet in my
new foot massager
& relax. BUT it wouldn't work!!!
Nothing went right
today!!!!!!! Why did You do
that??????
GOD: Let me see, the death angel
was at your bed
this morning & I had to send one
of My Angels to
battle him for your life. I let you
sleep through
that
ME (humbled): OH
GOD: I didn't let your car start
because there was
a drunk driver on your route that
would have hit
you if you were on the road.
ME: (ashamed)
GOD: The first person who made
your sandwich
today was sick & I didn't want
you to catch what
he had,...I knew you couldn't
afford to miss
work...
ME (embarrassed):O kay
GOD: Your phone went dead
because the person
that was calling was going to give
false witness
about what you said on that call, I
didn't even let
you talk to them so you would be
covered...
ME (softly): I see God
GOD: Oh and that foot massager, it
had a
shortage that was going to
electrocute you, So I
stopped it from coming on.
ME: I'm Sorry God....
GOD: Don't be sorry, just learn to
Trust Me.... in
All things , the Good & the bad.
ME: I will trust You Lord
GOD: And don't doubt that My plan
for your day is
Always Better than your plan...
ME: I won't God. And let me just
tell you God,
Thank You for Everything today.
GOD: You're welcome child. It was
just another
day being your God and I Love

You’ve felt it. I know you have.
Sometime recently, you’ve felt the hurt ... the pressure ... the anxiety of being attacked. Maybe in a relationship. Maybe in your finances. Maybe a problem in your physical body.
The devil loves to attack God’s people.
But God has decreed these weapons of evil cannot prosper against you!

Get the Sin Out

So Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent, and there it was, hidden in his tent, with the silver underneath. They took the things from the tent, brought them to Joshua and all the Israelites and spread them out before the Lord.
Joshua 7:22-23

What is hidden in your tent? Is it a love of money? Is it an addiction? Is it a love of yourself-selfishness, self-centeredness, self-absorption? Whatever it is, it is time to get the sin out!

When Joshua learned who was responsible for the defeat at Ai, he and the Israelites took decisive action. They did not rationalize or excuse Achan's sin, for God said that anyone guilty would be destroyed by fire (see Joshua 7:15).

We cannot counsel ourselves out of sinning, and we can't excuse, rationalize or reason our way out of the penalties of sin...the sin has to die. It has to be nailed to the cross and covered by the blood of Jesus. It has to come out-from the root. What is at the root of your sin?

Achan probably thought he could have what he wanted and still be close to God, but he lost his life and all his possessions. Look closely at your life today.

Ask God to show you what needs to be removed from your tent. Is the cost of holding on to the sin worth it?
