Na semana passada, os nossos alunos concluíram Instructor Development Course, crescendo em competências e confiança, e dando um grande passo rumo ao seu futuro como profissionais de mergulho. Próxima paragem: Sodwana, onde irão realizar o Instructor Examination. Estamos extremamente orgulhosos de cada um deles e desejamos-lhes muito sucesso no IE 🍀

From zero to hero 🌊

Last week, our students completed their Instructor Development Course, growing in skills and confidence, and stepping fully into their future as dive professionals. Next stop: Sodwana, where they’ll take on their Instructor Examination. We are incredibly proud of each one of them and wish them the very best of luck for their IE 🍀

Moçambique no DEMA 2025! 🇲🇿🌍

O Maputo Dive Center teve uma semana incrível na maior feira de mergulho do mundo, mostrando não só o mergulho, mas toda a nossa aventura Beach & Bush.

Apresentámos um dos circuitos de viagem mais únicos do mundo, com mergulho de classe mundial em Moçambique e safaris imperdíveis na África do Sul, permitindo aos visitantes mergulhar de manhã e ver os Big Five no dia seguinte. Mostrámos porque Moçambique é perfeito para exploradores: não apenas mergulhos repetitivos, mas mergulho combinado com paragliding, quad bikes, cultura, gastronomia e safari 🐆🐘🐋

Fomos orgulhosamente reconhecidos como DEMA Gold Diving Community Champion pelo nosso impacto real nas comunidades através do mergulho, educação, conservação e capacitação local 🏆

Também doámos uma máscara tradicional de pesca submarina da Ilha de Moçambique ao Museum of Diving History como símbolo da herança marítima e reforçámos a colaboração com o Diving With a Purpose, desenvolvendo trilhas de mergulho arqueológico em Nampula junto a naufrágios históricos para apoiar a investigação através do turismo de mergulho responsável 🤿

Mozambique at DEMA 2025! ✨

Maputo Dive Center had an amazing week at the world’s largest dive show, showcasing not just diving, but our full Beach & Bush adventure

We presented one of the world’s most unique travel circuits, with world-class diving in Mozambique and bucket-list safaris in South Africa, allowing visitors to dive in the morning and see the Big Five the next day. We highlighted why Mozambique is perfect for explorers: not just repetitive dives, but diving combined with paragliding, quad bikes, culture, cuisine, and safari. 🦏🐬

We were proud to be recognized as DEMA’s Gold Diving Community Champion for our real community impact through diving, education, conservation, and local capacity-building 🏆

We also donated a traditional spearfishing mask from Ilha de Moçambique to the Museum of Diving History as a symbol of maritime heritage and strengthened our collaboration with Diving with a Purpose, developing archaeological dive trails in Nampula around historic shipwrecks to support research through responsible dive tourism 🤿
