SOUTHERN MOZAMBIQUE NOW SET FOR MAJOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT
Peace Parks Foundation has signed an agreement with Mozambique to support the management and development of Maputo Special Reserve and Ponta do Ouro Partial Marine Reserve. The Foundation will provide technical and financial support for conservation and tourism development activities, which will entail merging the two reserves into one management structure. With just one five-star lodge, Anvil Bay - Chemucane, Mozambique, currently operating, the partners will also take up the opportunity for the development of additional accommodation, and tourist products, across a wider cost and experiential offering.
