Opening Doors_All Girls

As part of the Opening Doors programme, and the Carlos Morgado Foundation held a practical talk to introduce the basic concepts of solar energy to 120 teenage girls aged between 12 and 14, from Maputo City and Province.

Through interactive discussions, educational videos and presentations by AMER and Girafa Solar, the participants were able to understand in a simple and engaging way how solar energy is captured and used in everyday life, as well as the transformative impact that access to electricity has on remote communities.

No âmbito do programa Opening Doors, a AMER e a Fundação Carlos Morgado realizaram uma palestra prática para introduzir os conceitos básicos da energia solar a 120 raparigas adolescentes, com idades entre os 12 e 14 anos, provenientes da Cidade e Província de Maputo.

Através de conversas interactivas, vídeos educativos e da apresentação da e da Girafa Solar, as participantes puderam compreender, de forma simples e lúdica, como a energia solar é captada e utilizada no dia-a-dia, bem como o impacto transformador do acesso à electricidade em comunidades remotas.
