Yesterday was a brilliant day to catch some sunshine on the beach at Roelize lodge and taste the amazing flavours of the ocean after having a relaxed horseback ride at El Paso, Macaneta.

Often times we lose sight of the bigger picture and this can make us feel completely lost!
It is at these times we need to look closer at our surroundings to see the beauty and potential we have all around us and to have the courage to get our feet and hands dirty to find our way again.
I found these tiny specimens while reconnecting with nature on a barefoot walk with my dogs in the bush of Macaneta.

Not a bad view while waiting for clients before a short 1 night camping trip in the Maputo special reserve!

Found this (not so) little creature roaming my yard this morning. What a beauty!! Giant Jewel beetle, (Sternocera orissa).

Luckily you won't need massive spectacles like this guy to see the colourful street art in downtown Maputo.
