*GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY*
By *Dr Clara Akpami*
Lamentations 3:37 NKJV
Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, when the Lord has not commanded it?
There are people who tend to speak into your life because they think they possess some supernatural power that can humiliate you. Some may have exercised such power against you and think they are in control of your life. Please be informed that it is God who has the ultimate power, not man nor satan. Our text is clear when it says “Who is he that speaks and it comes to pass when the Lord has not commanded it?” If what is being said about you or to you is not in line with God's word, it does not possess the power to manifest except you permit it. Yet another version of our text says “Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?”
When words are spoken against you, cancel the power of those words with God's commandment. Declare what God's word says concerning you. Our father in the Lord Dr John Akpami says “Those who don't pray become preys.” Your declaration of God's word is your prayer to establish God's word in your life. He further says, “Your inaction activates the devil. If you lie low, he walks tall. If you keep your mouth shut, you allow satan to have the final say.” Job 22:28 says, “You shall decree a thing and it shall come to pass while Proverbs 18:21 says, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue.”
If your enemy uses his tongue to speak death into your life, of course, you also have the power in your own tongue to declare life. What God says about you is more powerful and productive than any other counsel. It is the final word about you. Decree God's Word over your life, it carries authority, and it shall come to pass in Jesus name.
*Prayer*
I decree God’s Word over my life, business family and environment. You shall have what I have decreed in Jesus Name.

*WHEN THE ENEMY HAS YOU SURROUNDED! I*

2kings 6:8-16
When the king of Aram was at war with Israel, he would confer with his officers and say, “We will mobilize our forces at such and such a place.”
But immediately Elisha, the man of God, would warn the king of Israel, “Do not go near that place, for the Arameans are planning to mobilize their troops there.” 10 So the king of Israel would send word to the place indicated by the man of God. Time and again Elisha warned the king, so that he would be on the alert there.
The king of Aram became very upset over this. He called his officers together and demanded, “Which of you is the traitor? Who has been informing the king of Israel of my plans?”
“It’s not us, my lord the king,” one of the officers replied. “Elisha, the prophet in Israel, tells the king of Israel even the words you speak in the privacy of your bedroom!”
“Go and find out where he is,” the king commanded, “so I can send troops to seize him.”
And the report came back: “Elisha is at Dothan.” 14 So one night the king of Aram sent a great army with many chariots and horses to surround the city.
When the servant of the man of God got up early the next morning and went outside, there were troops, horses, and chariots everywhere. “Oh, sir, what will we do now?” the young man cried to Elisha.
“Don’t be afraid!” Elisha told him. “For there are more on our side than on theirs!”
*DAILY BIBLE READING IN A YEAR:*
Romans 16; 1 Cor. 1:1-4:13
When the servant of Elisha woke early in the morning and saw that the city of Dothan was surrounded by a great army, horses and chariots of the deadly Syrian army, he asked his master, Elisha, “What shall we do?”.
Today, we are surrounded by deadly terrorists. Every part of this nation is surrounded by enemy forces that want to steal, kill and destroy us. They want to take our rights and freedoms away from us and bring us into slavery and bo***ge. So much fear, pains & mourning.
The question will still be, what do you do when the enemy has you surrounded?
Elisha's response is very instructive
He said to his servant, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”
We must have faith at such moments and not walk in or yield to fear. God is with us, the forces with us are more than the forces against us, inspite of their boastings. God who is with us is a Mighty One in battle, our faith empowers God to work on our behalf.
We must be strong in faith knowing that God has you surrounded.
Even when you are surrounded by fire, he will be the fourth man in the fire. Lean on Him!
*PRAYER:*
I shall not be overwhelmed by the evil surrounding me in Jesus name.
Psa 20:2 May he send you help from the sanctuary, and give you support from Zion!
May the Lord God almighty send you a helper this week in the name of Jesus Christ

*THE MISSIONAL CHURCH*
By, *Bishop. Mike Akpami*
John 20:21-22
*DAILY BIBLE READING IN A YEAR:*
1 Chr. 11:22-15:29
Jesus was sent to the world by the Father not to do His own will, but the will of Him that sent Him John 6:38
Doing the will of the Father which is to save the lost became the passion of Jesus and while speaking with the disciples at the well of Samaria said, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent me.” John 4:34
All of God's people are also sent on a mission, “As the Father has sent me, I also send you.”
You are saved for a mission. Paul understood this and considered it the most important thing in his life.
The Church has been entrusted with the mission of saving lost souls.
Being sent means that we move outside the walls of our local church buildings and our Christian homes in order to engage all peoples with the gospel.
You are not alone while on the mission. Jesus said, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20. Be assured of God's presence working with you and confirming the word with signs.
The Lord of the harvest will Himself bring in the harvest as you go. Pray that He brings in the harvest.
*PRAYER:*
Pray for the unsaved around you.

*SUCCESS IN MINISTRY*
By *Pst. Clara Akpami*
1Sam. 18:14
*DAILY BIBLE READING IN A YEAR:*
I Chr. 8:29-11:21
“ In everything he did he had great success, because the Lord was with him “.
Success means Favorable outcome or accomplishment.
It is often said that, Failure is not the opposite of success but it's part of success.
Erwin Lutzer Said:
“ Those who have failed miserably are often the first to see God's formula for success
Success is doing what God told you to do regardless of the cost and the consequences.
What may not be success with men, is with God. It is God who has sent you that can determine how successful you are. Jack Hyles said, “ The difference between success and failure is work”. You can't be lazy and succeed in life and ministry . You must get out of your comfort zone. Pay now and play later. Be disciplined enough to take daily actions that will lead you to succeed.
How to succeed:
Know God personally and always connect to Him in prayer.
You need His presence.
Hear God and understand Him
Obey His instructions
Be focused on Him who called you and do not be distracted by what others are doing.
Be committed to what He has called you to do.
Do not ever stop doing what He has assigned you to do. Meditate on God's word day and night, be careful to do according to all that is written in it. To be successful, you must be responsible to do all that you are expected to do.
*PRAYER:*
Lord, help me not to settle down with failure but go to work to succeed.
