SNAIL FARMING : SNAIL HOUSING /PEN MODIFICATION

Do you know that many structures aren't modified and that could cause slow growth/ mortality in snail farming.

*What does one mean by pen modification?*

It's a process of building your pen in the right position against wind and sunlight.

Many pens/snail housings have been built wrongly and the after effect has always been painful wow(how come I'm loosing snails).
Most new farmers will start attacking the farmers who sold snails to them. Don't panic new farmers. It's wasn't your fault because a farmer who is into snailery should be able to tell you the do's and don'ts,except you are buying from the market.

I was once in that shoe. I cried,I ran to places in search of help,yet no one could help. I asked questions but only a few could give answers, though it wasn't helpful at that time.

*Guess what?* Right this moment,I have overwhelmed all those misery which comes with snailery.

Snail farming is not easy at all but the moment you get it right,then know for sure that you will always be fine.

Building your pen/snail house in a windy direction is wrong. Wind dries out dew, and dry snails which make them not to grow fats and can make them hibernate once they start loosing excess water.

They loose excess water once they are directed at the wind,that's why we condemn fan and air condition because they will dry out and die.

Direct sunlight on your snails should be disapproved so that they won't be *INFERTILE*. Give them enough shade and mulching materials.

The right way to modify your pen is to *BUILD YOUR PENS IN FRONT OF TREES NOT BEHIND TREES*
