On Thursday, January 23, 2025, Securecycle Environmental and Climate Change Initiative brought smiles, hope, and sustainability to Methodist Primary School, Fadage, Ogun State through the EDUPACK 2025 Jeans to Bag Project Donation Program.

This impactful event coincided with the International Day of Education, reinforcing our belief that every child deserves access to quality education and the resources to thrive.

With the presence of notable guests, including Mr. Emmanuel Kilaso, our founder, Mr. Hakeem Olakunle Bamgbola, Head Teacher and Chairman of Odeda Local Government NUT, Miss Agboola, a Teach For Nigeria Fellow, and Mrs. Stella Maris Akinniyi, a dedicated class teacher and Mr. Oluwadamilare Oladotun (FIMC, CMC), the day was a true celebration of education, sustainability, and community empowerment.

🌱 Impact Highlights:
✅ 28 students received eco-friendly school bags made from recycled jeans, promoting sustainability and reducing textile waste.
✅ A special pupil received financial support for a school uniform, emphasizing our commitment to supporting vulnerable children.
✅ Parents expressed heartfelt gratitude, with one parent stating: "I was struggling to afford school materials for my children, but thanks to EDUPACK 2025, they now have what they need to succeed. I am truly grateful."

🚀 Overcoming Challenges, Driving Change
In his speech, Mr. Emmanuel Kilaso shared the journey behind the project—the dedication, the obstacles, and the triumphs. From mobilizing community support to navigating logistical hurdles, the Securecycle team remained resilient and committed to making a difference.
