Selling on social media is easy and simple but then you need to understand that these platforms weren't initially built as market places

There are three basic reasons why most people use social media

To be entertained, To get information and To connect. Please note, buying and selling isn't included 🏃‍♀️🙏😁

I know you have been told you need to put your business in front of people if you must sell

Some experts advise that you annoy people with your marketing, meaning that you should Always advertise on social media, always post about your business, choke people with your marketing and so on, they call it the 10x rule (Do ten times what your competitors are doing)

While this might work for a very selected few it also can ruin your business completely, when you choke people's feeds with your marketing they begin to unfollow, block or mute you and your brand

There is something called the Pareto principle also known as the 80/20 rule, it states that 80% of your social media post should be centered around the three major reasons why people come online and the remaining 20% should be about your business

This way you can use your daily post to tell stories that eEducate, Entertain and Inform your audience and they will in turn patronize your business without you ever having to use the word "BUY" 🔳
