🚨 BREAKING: IRCC Increasing Proof of Funds for International Students 🚨

Starting September 1, 2025, international students applying for a study permit in Canada 🇨🇦 will be required to show $22,000 as proof of financial support (up from the current $20,635) in addition to their first-year tuition and travel costs.

🔹 This applies to new study permit applications submitted on or after September 1, 2025.
🔹 The last increase was in January 2024, when the requirement jumped from $10,000 to $20,635, to better reflect the cost of living in Canada.
