UP OR DOWN? WHICH WAY NIGERIA??🇳🇬
This is not just about language — it’s about identity, memory, and survival.”
Seeing that the Federal Government of Nigeria has banned Indigenous languages in schools is deeply disheartening. 💔
Languages are not just communication tools — they are codes of identity, memory, spirituality, and wisdom.
When English becomes the only voice on Indigenous lands, entire worldviews are silenced, and generations lose their cultural compass.
Dear Dr. Tunji Alausa,
As Minister of Education, you hold the power to nurture Nigeria’s true diversity.
Please reconsider this path and champion a policy that protects and promotes Indigenous languages in our schools.
Our languages are not relics — they are living bridges between our past, present, and future.
P.S : last side expresses my current mood. 😞
