DIARY OF A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

As a customer service representative, I get to interact with different customers on a daily basis. Part of my job is to help these customers resolve their queries as regard the product and services we offer.

So I was speaking with this particular customer on phone who had complained of not having the complete channels he subscribed for on his Gotv decoder and for the fact he had missed watching his favourite program on TV was something he was not happy about.

I empathize with him and went further to investigate what could be the issue. After asking some few questions It was discovered that his decoder was not getting signals and this was because his antenna was not properly placed.

I told him the right steps to follow if he must continue viewing but his reply was something to ponder on.

He said to me "But it is the same position my neighbour placed his own and it's working for him so why is my own not working"

I smiled and said to him "Sir what worked for others may not work for you but if you can do as I have directed I assure you of getting the best service henceforth". I guess this statement made so much sense to him and his next reply was "wow thank you for those words I will do as you have directed"

For some of us God is saying this is the right way to go but we insist to go the way of other people because we have seen them gain results by simply following a particular process which may not be the right way God has patterned for us and at the end of the day we get disappointed after failing to get same results.
What worked for others may not always work for you. There is a path God has crafted for you to follow.
That a particular formula is working for others doesn't mean that is the same formula God wants you to follow.

You have argued enough with God it is time to let Him lead you the right way.
