REP UKPONG-UDO EXTENDS CONDOLENCE, FAMILY SUPPORT TO CONSTITUENTS IN IKONO AND INI

The member representing Ikono/Ini Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong-udo, PhD, has again demonstrated compassion and solidarity with constituents through a series of condolence and support visits across Ikono and Ini Local Government Areas.

Represented by his Legislative Aide, Donald Bassey, the lawmaker on Saturday, May 9, 2026, visited the family of Mr Victor Sunday Umoh at Ukpom Ekpene Inuen, Ikono LGA, to sympathise with them over the demise of his brother.
He also visited Mr Ikemesit Emmanuel Inyang of Akpayak, Ikpe, Ward 1, Ini LGA, to condole with the family over the passing of his mother, Late Deaconess Affiong Emmanuel Inyang.

In a related gesture of support, Rep. Ukpong-udo also extended goodwill assistance to Mr. Bassey Ikpeme Edem of Nkwot 1, Ward 6, Ikono LGA, ahead of his child dedication ceremony scheduled for Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Speaking during the visits, Engr. Bassey conveyed the lawmaker’s heartfelt sympathies and encouragement to the affected families, assuring them of Rep. Ukpong-udo’s continued commitment to standing with constituents during both difficult and joyful moments.
The beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the thoughtful gestures, describing the lawmaker as a leader who remains connected to the realities and welfare of his people.
