Culture You Rarely See: Inside the Emirs Palace Kano

I visited the Emirs Palace in Kano, a place where history still breathes, stories still walk, and culture still stands proud.

During the Mini Durbar Festival, I watched tradition come alive in colours, horses, music, and royal heritage.
As a storyteller, standing here reminded me that our culture is not just history…
It is an identity. It is a memory. It was created by real people that had good intentions to gather what they found through life.

Every corner of this palace holds a story as to why everything was made the way it was.
