Our great Vice Presidents, let me welcome us to this afternoon's near informal meeting.

The reason for creating this platform is for us to have the opportunity to interact with the 6 strong pillars holding The Democratic Alternative Support initiative, away from the regular expanded exco meetings.

The National leadership of this great family recognizes the fact that, the strength of our zonal chapters and states under them, determines the strength of this family, hence the need for constant interactions between these layers of Administration.

My leaders, TDASI believes in you and your capabilities to drive this vision successfully. No doubt we all are going through personal challenges, which might have effects on our enthusiasm.

However, we must appreciate the fact that nothing good comes easy and no nation or organisation achieves milestones without the conscious efforts of her citizens and members.

You all have been great pillars of supports and we will remain eternally grateful to you all for the achievements so far.

Nevertheless, we are appealing to you, to stretch yourselves a little more to ensure that our state chapters becomes more vibrant than they are now.

As we progress in this journey, things will surely become clearer and we all will begin to appreciate the reasons God brought us together as one great family.

As the National president and head of Administration, I hold no monopoly of wisdom or knowledge, as to the best way to run a family like this.

In view of this, I always look forward to your invaluable advices and suggestions, on the best way to go about things. I have an open mind and will always respect and appreciate your kind supports and encouragements.

Welcome Address Presented By The National President at the online meeting of the Women directorate of The Democratic Alternative Support initiative, on Saturday 5th of June, 2021.

Good Evening Great women of The Democratic Alternative support initiative, the foremost political support initiative, building a network of great people, great minds and great believers in the Nigerian project.

As you converge here tonight, to deliberate on issues that will promote TDASI as a family, we encourage you to have your full focus on the bigger pictures, which are Nigeria first and our resolve to ensure that, come 2023, Nigerian will elect credible leaders, that will guarantee people oriented leadership at all Governance levels.

On behalf of the National Executive Council of this great family, let me thank our National women leader, Hajia Aisha Mohammed Barup and her deputy Chief ( Mrs) Anita Nwako, for their dedication and commitments to this vision.

Our appreciation goes to another great woman, Mrs Oluseyi Kadiri, our National Secretary,who has contributed greatly in the running of this great and emerging power house, history will be kind to you and recognize you all greatly for your supports and sacrifices.

We will not forget other noble women occupying various positions in the National Executive Council, from Dr Erisa Danladi and Dr Elizabeth Phillips ,our National director and deputy director ( Special duties) , to Mrs Ladi Aliyu-Okojie, our National Organizing Secretary, Lady Doris Yashi( Jp) and Princess Modupe Olaniyi, National director and deputy ( Welfare), Mrs Joy Onu, deputy director ( Research and planning),Hajia Hadiza Usman( National Treasurer) , Lady Ngozi Umunna, Deputy director ( Contact and mobilization) , Hon Chide Omale ( Ex-officio ) , for your invaluable contributions towards the success achieved so far.

NEC, appreciates our Vice President ( North Central) , Mrs Christy Dakup, Our Vice president ( South South ) Lady Marilyn Dan Jumbo, our Zonal women leaders, Hajia Latefat Ibrahim ( NC), Yeyeoge Odebunmi ( SW), Hajia Hadiza Hamza ( NE) , Barrister (Mrs) Ifeoma Okeke( SE) and other female zonal exco members,for your trust and confidence in the vision and mission.

Not forgetting our indefatigable female state directors of Abia state ( Mrs Obiageli Imo) , Nasarawa state ( Mrs Veronica) , Kebbi state ( Maryam Isah), and FCT ( Hannatu Abubakar) and all state women leaders and female state exco members ,for the great pillar of supports you are providing in your states.

To our great women here, we say thank you for standing strong and believing in the abilities of the leadership to show clear direction as we match towards 2023.Your supports and encouragement are appreciated, as without you, there won’t be us.

Tonight, as we welcome you to this meeting, we want you to know and note that, no nation or organisation that wants to achieve milestones plays down the significance of her women.

The doggedness and zeal to succeed has never been in short supply, where women gathers.As women of this great family,time to demonstrate that never say die spirit is now.

Tonight, we are encouraging you all to further resolve not to allow the challenges we are currently facing as individuals and as a country to dampen your spirit, rather you must stand stronger in the face of these daunting challenges and say never again, shall we allow ourselves to be deceived by people who never meant well for us and our dear country.

As sisters, wives and mothers, you occupy a sensitive and spiritual positions in the lives of your children, fathers , husbands and your country, time to unleash that God given strength , through actions geared towards building a greater nation is now.

God hears your cry, prayers and supplication, stand up,cry to God and appeal to him to come save you, your children, fathers, husbands and country ,from the evil attacks of those that wants to destroy us and our country.

What we are facing today is a direct consequences of failure of our country’s leadership. You must understand that leadership is a product of followership , that leadership and followership are products of values from our families. Therefore as Strategic partners in the family, You must ensure that our family units produces men and women, boys and girls , who has risen above the narrow confines of religion and ethnicity to broader concerns for humanity and their country, to enable us think of our country first, where rule of love prevails. With Rule of love( not law) , all forms of crime and criminality against ourselves will
become a thing of the past.

Great women, on The Democratic Alternative Support Initiative platform, we want to see Nigerians with a new attitude towards politics. We want to see Nigerians who are willing to make needed sacrifices to ensure that come 2023, we will elect credible leaders with the capacity, character , content and commitment to provide us leadership we all will be proud of.

We cannot achieve our goals without a sustained effort and support of our women directorate. We need a vibrant and purposeful women directorate, ready to play pivotal roles as we keep building this world class political support initiative.

I have no iota of doubt, that we have the women here with the minds and courage to lend the needed support , brace up and take your pride of place in this family.

Few days ago NEC met and fixed our National inauguration in October this year. As we look forward to that history making event, we are encouraging our women to use this inauguration opportunity to further show stronger mind presence in the vision and mission of The Democratic Alternative Support initiative, by supporting in anyway possible that will make that day, a great day to remember.

As you do this, be rest assured that TDASI will remain eternally grateful to you and will recognize you all accordingly.

My lovely sisters, mothers and friends, on a personal not, as the National President of this great family, I am assuring you all that, leadership will do everything humanly possible to lead us right and give us positive reasons to appreciate our membership of this great family.

We have our eyes fixed on the biggest pictures. Our ears are close to the ground, as we keep studying the dynamics of 2023. Be rest assured that you have a committed and selfless leadership. Leadership that you can trust.

Finally as you deliberate tonight, be reminded that TDASI loves and appreciates you all.

Let’s keep building this family together, as Indeed we are stronger together.

Today ,The Democratic Alternative Support Initiative , achieved another milestone, as our Abia State chapter led by Mrs Oby Imo, alongside Arochukwu local Government coordinator Hon Livinus, and some of their excos, on the invitation of a leading Abia State Governorship hopeful,sir Chikwe Udensi , paid a solidarity visit to Sir Udensi, in his palatial country home in Arochukwu, Arochukwu local government area of Abia State. Yours truly was present too. Our host His Excellency, Sir Chikwe Udensi, warmly welcomed the TDASI Abia state chapter and my humble self and officially invited the chapter, to join him in his desire to become the democratically elected Governor of Abia state, come 2023. TDASI, will surely play a critical role as we match towards 2023 Governorship election in Abia state. God bless us all.

BREAKING NEWS:

At the just concluded extraordinary exco meeting,few minutes ago, the leadership of The Democratic Alternative Support Initiative, via a voting process that resulted to 7 against 1, resolved to beam their searchlight on the North East zone of the country, for an aspirant that is credible and capable with the character and content to win the 2023 presidential election and give Nigeria and Nigerians a purposeful leadership. The decision, was a majority decision as the 5 vice Presidents present settled for Northeast too. Tonight, we have made history, by acting in one accord, as one great family.
