*Writing an Abstract*

The abstract is a brief summary of the research, usually about 100-150 words in length or one page. It’s usually in a single line spacing, ether all characters bolded and or in italic. It should highlight information on the research problem that was studied, the research methodology, the results and the major conclusions.

Note: Abstract is placed before the table of contents.

A good abstract should have approximately four paragraphs made up of:

Two or three statements or sentences about the problems and objectives of the research.

Two or three statements or sentences about the research method that was used.

Two or three statements about the research findings.

Two or three statements or sentences about the recommendations and conclusions based on the research findings.
