On 26 March 2026, a delegation from the Inclusive Skills Development Initiative (ISDI) paid a courtesy visit to the Department of Women Affairs at the National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD).

The team was warmly received by Mrs. Patience Dickson Ogolo, Head of the Women and Gender Unit, who represented the Executive Secretary. Discussions during the visit focused on fostering collaboration and aligning efforts to advance inclusive development, particularly for women and girls with disabilities.
The engagement was highly productive and marked an important step toward strengthening institutional partnership between ISDI and the NCPWD. The Commission’s commitment to providing institutional support—through the Women and Gender Unit—will significantly improve access to schools and facilitate the effective implementation of the UNESCO-supported project.

ISDI looks forward to sustained collaboration with the Commission and remains committed to providing regular updates while deepening this partnership throughout the project lifecycle.
