CBR TESTER – A KEY TO STRONGER ROADS & FOUNDATIONS

The California Bearing Ratio (CBR) Tester is a fundamental piece of equipment used to evaluate the strength of subgrade soils and base course materials in road and pavement design.

It measures the resistance of soil when penetrated, and compares it to the resistance of standard crushed rock.

Higher CBR value = stronger, more stable soil
