DELTA APC CRISES: RESPECT COURT ORDER, ONUESOKE TELLS EMERHOR

Chief Sunny Onuesoke, chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, has told Olorogun O’tega Emerhor’s led All Progressives Congress to obey the court order that ousted Prophet Jones Erhue led executive of the APC in Delta state if they are really the ‘change’ ambassadors they claimed to be.
Onuesoke who made this known at Agbarha-Otor during the weekend said, “I am not in position to comment on issues of a drowning party like the APC but since their activities threatens the present peace in Delta state, I will advise Olorogun O’tega Emerhor to call his men to order for the sake of peace”.
It could be recalled that last week some members of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Delta State where arrested by the Police, following a violent clash by supporters of the two factions of the party in the state.

The party in the state had been engulfed in leadership crisis with a faction loyal to Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor and the other loyal to a Second Republic senator, Spanner Okpozo.

Onuesoke in reaction stated that he sees nothing wrong with what Second Republic senator, Spanner Okpozo did by inaugurating a caretaker committee under the aegis of Elders and Leaders of APC to oversee the affairs of their party in the state because according to him, the state High Court had sacked the Prophet Jones Erue-led executive that was elected at a congress held in the premises of a church in 2014, following a suit filed by Chief Adolor Okotie-Eboh.
Onuesoke appealed to the O’tega Emerhor led faction of the APC in Delta state to respect the court order that sacked the Prophet Jones Erhue led executives so that the present peace that is been enjoyed by Deltans which was made possible by Governor Okowa will not be jeopardized by crises of the drowning APC.
He added that it’s not healthy for the state capital to be engulfed with APC crises which led to thugs armed with dangerous weapons including guns invading the city and allegedly molested members of the public during exchange of gun-fire between thugs suspected to be loyal to both factions.

DELTA APC, COLONY OF FAILED POLITICIANS – ONUESOKE

ASABA—A former Delta State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Sunny Onuesoke, yesterday, described the state chapter of the All Progressive Congress, APC, as a colony of failed politicians. Onuesoke who was reacting to recent media report credited to one Chief John Orido of the APC, said that the APC does not have the capacity to unseat the PDP in the state in 2019. He said: “The APC in Delta State is made up of politicians, who have failed several elections in the past. It is a known fact in the state that the author of the story is a drowning politician that failed several elections he contested. “So if such a statement is coming from such a politician, it’s laughable. The APC in Delta State is made up of politicians who failed several elections in the state. A proper perusal of their leaders will prove to my position that the APC in Delta State is made up of failed and rejected politicians. “There is no way failed and rejected politicians will take over Delta State come 2019. It was lack of their tactical political ideology and outright rejection by the electorate that led to their failure at several elections in the state. “They are yet to learn from us, the PDP, they are still neophytes when it comes to issues of politics in Delta State. It will be very difficult for the APC to win election in Delta and Nigeria come 2019 because they have failed Nigerians with their unguided economic policies which have crumbled Nigeria’s economy. “Despite the economic challenges, our amiable governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa is still souring high in the area of infrastructure, employment, education, health and many others in Delta State, which has added credence to the PDP chances of retaining power in the state come 2019.”
