Communities across Plateau State Government. continue to face persistent conflict, displacement, and insecurity. Too often, the people most affected are excluded from the decisions that shape their lives. Leaders are rarely held accountable, public concerns go unanswered, and trust between citizens and government continues to erode because many people feel unheard.

That is why we are strengthening Community Frontline Advocates (CFAs). Through this training, participants are equipped to serve as trusted, non-partisan bridges between citizens and government. They learn how to safely document community issues, gather credible evidence using digital tools like , map accountability pathways, and engage ethically to ensure community voices are heard and acted upon.

Change begins when citizens have safe, credible ways to participate in governance. Over the next 15 months, CFAs across Benue State Government, Plateau State Government., and Kaduna State Government will help turn community concerns into constructive action, strengthen accountability, improve service delivery, and rebuild trust between communities and government. One issue, one response, and one community at a time.

The strength of a democracy is reflected not only in elections or protests, but in whether people feel safe to participate, speak up, and expect accountability.
