*🩸GOVERNMENT AND CORONA VIRUS: CITIZENS MUST TAKE PRECAUTIONARY AND TIMELY MEASURES DESPITE EASING THE LOCKDOWN*
_Corona virus pandemic is the hottest issue of public concern and the headline in almost every news story._

*Following the outbreak of covid-19 ,the world health organization(WHO) meted out proactive and preventive measures to curtail it's spread in many countries.*
*There has been increasingly day-day confirmed cases in our nation despite strict measures instigated by the federal government of Nigeria to cushion the proliferated spread of the virus. it has become insurmountable to contain in the nation due to lack of compliance by her citizens.*

*The public found it difficult and strenuous to grapple with the unruly effects of the necessitated lockdown thereby expressing there misgivings on the issue.*
*Citizens who couldn't contain their anger poured out vituperations on the government for not providing relief funds to all citizens , although some competent and well meaning individual's provided palliatives to some of the citizens.*

From the foregoing, the government had to ease the lockdown to the revitalize the economic situation and mitigate the adverse effects of the necessitated lockdown on the average citizens.
This audacious move aroused critics from the Nigeria medical association (NMA) who described the action as premature and opined that the government could be endangering the lives of her citizens by easing the lockdown even in widely effected States.

In exploring the problem at hand, I have come out of the research with fairly and firm conviction that easing the lockdown didn't imply that the ravaging virus has been contained in the nation, but there is need to reinvigorate the economy of which forestall could be left in ruins in coming months.
