*GOOD DAY*

BATCH A STREAM 2 CONGRATS on a successful camping

*DOCUMENTATION PROCESS AFTER ORIENTATION CAMP FOR A2*

*Documentation for those that redeployed is different from those that didn't redeploy. Below is a guide.*

A) *Those that didn't apply for relocation:*

After parade, you will be given your respective PPA letters by your platoon officers

Take your PPA letter to your PPA for acceptance or rejection, if they accept you let them give you acceptance letter, let them know you have to go back home and pack and they should give you 2 weeks break. If they reject you, no problem, tell them to sign on it and give you a rejection letter, take it to the LGA to see your LGI

Take the acceptance or Rejection signed part of your PPA letter to the NYSC office at your LGA secretariat ( most times the require the full posting letter)

Submit it to the LGI and submit other submittable, then apply for 2 weeks permission to travel and pack your stuffs.

*B: For those that relocated to another state:*

After parade, check your name where they are sharing PPA letter, if your name is not there, good to go✅ if your name is there it doesn’t mean that your relocation failed.

NYSC works with time. Date of PPA posting if done ealier before relocation was approved, you will still get a posting letter.

Wait till relocation becomes visible on your dashboard then you can now conclude.

Check your dashboard, Print your relocation letters from your dashboard after payment to NYSC.

Go to *Nysc State secretariat* in that new state. (You have 21 days from the day your relocation is approved)

Submit your redeployment letter with other documents, you will get new state code and wait for your PPA letter on your dashboard. This can take time depending on your state.

Once posted, print and take your PPA posting letter to your PPA for acceptance

Take the acceptance letter to the NYSC office at the LGA secretariat and submit it

Submit all submittable.

NB: if you have a PPA of choice you can get a request letter from them and submit together with your relocation so NYSC will post u there (some states don’t honor request letter though. Eg:Ogun state and Oyo state )

You are good to go✅

*Safe journey all wishing you a wonderful service year ahead.*

⁉️ *BATCH A STREAM 2 WHAT'S NEXT AFTER NYSC CAMP? What you must do after camp*

DM FOR YOUR CHANGE OF PPA IF POSTED TO WHERE YOU DONT LIKE

After NYSC orientation camp on Tuesday what next? This is a question many Corps members are begging for answers. In this post, I will show you 3 things you should do after NYSC orientation camp.

After NYSC orientation camp, next is to collect your posting letter from your platoon officer. Your posting letter will tell you where you have been posted to carry out the National assignment.

After NYSC orientation camp, you will see some people that will travel back homes, some to their places of primary assignment and some others will just be stranded. *DO NOT travel after NYSC camp unless you have been relocated to other state, I will talk about relocated corpers later.*

*After NYSC camp what next?*
Here is what next after NYSC Orientation Camp;

*1. Report to your PPA*
The first thing to do after NYSC camp is to go to your Place of Primary Assignment (PPA). But if you get relocated while in camp, then go to the NYSC State Secretariat in the new state you were relocated for documentations.

However, if you don’t meet up to report in your PPA, you can lodge in Corpers’ lodge or any religious body corpers Lodge, and report the following day in the morning.

Please, make sure you collect your posting letter from your camp platoon officer before leaving NYSC camp because you need to report to your PPA with your posting letter.

Note: When you take your posting letter to your PPA, they will either accept or reject you. If they reject or accept you, they will write it on the detachable part of the letter.

So, whether they accept or reject you, you should take the document the employer will give you to your Local Govt Inspector (LGI).

Tips: *Make one photocopy of your posting letter before taking it to your PPA.*

Example; If your PPA is a secondary school, the principal of the school will stamp the detachable part of your posting letter, and then write either “Accepted” or “Rejected”.

Whether you are accepted or rejected, remember to take the detachable form to your LGI’s office for documentation.

*2. Report to your LGI Office*
This is actually the second step to take. After reporting to your PPA, you will be given a letter that shows whether you are accepted or rejected.

You are to submit the letter to the NYSC Zonal Office or the office of LGI depending on the distance between the Zonal office and the LGI office.

Note: If you are rejected in your PPA, DO NOT proceed to the step 3 until you get another PPA. In most cases your LGI or Zonal Inspector will repost you to another PPA or you find PPA for yourself.

*3. Enjoy your 2-3 week leave*
After you have completed steps 1 and 2, the next is to enjoy your 2-3week leave. You can use your leave opportunity to travel home and meet your people.

Note: Due to delay in getting your ppa etc, Your 3 week leave might end up becoming 2 week leave. Mine was even 1 week leave

But before you travel, you need to write and submit a leave application letter to the NYSC state Coordinator through your LGI.

Thanks 🙏

Happy new week
