One thing I kept thinking about while building WorkieTechie was trust.
Because honestly…
Talent has never really been the problem.
I’ve seen incredibly skilled Nigerians and Africans get overlooked simply because companies are scared of hiring the wrong people remotely.
And I understand that fear.
That’s why I didn’t want WorkieTechie to feel like just another platform where anybody can sign up and claim anything.
I wanted something more reliable. More intentional.
A space where companies can feel confident hiring, and where talented people can finally be seen for what they’re truly capable of.
That’s why verification, screening, portfolio reviews, and quality control matter deeply to me.
Because if trust is missing, everything breaks.
And if trust exists, opportunities grow
