OLATUBOSUN IWALEWA EMPOWERS OVER 300 WIDOWS WITH FOOD ITEMS IN AKOTOGBO COMMUNITY

As part of his commitment to alleviate hardship in his community, Hon. Olatubosun Iwalewa (Austel) has empowered over 300 widows in Akotogbo Community, distributing food items including 5KG bags of rice. The initiative according to Iwalewa is part of his ongoing efforts to support the vulnerable and ensure food security among the less privileged.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Iwalewa emphasized the importance of giving back to the community, especially in times of economic difficulty. He expressed his desire to continue such gestures to help ease the burden on widows and other vulnerable groups.

"I understand the challenges many families face, especially widows who shoulder the burden of raising their children alone. My hope is that this small contribution will bring some relief and encouragement," Iwalewa said.

He urged the people to support and vote for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa in the upcoming November 16th gubernatorial election, emphasizing the need to continue his good work and ongoing development efforts for the state.

Similarly, the Special Adviser on Health to the Ondo State Governor, Prof. Simidele Odimayo, praised Hon. Iwalewa for his magnanimity and dedication to the welfare of his people. "Hon. Iwalewa’s gesture is a shining example of leadership and compassion. His support for the needy, especially widows, reflects a deep commitment to community service," Prof. Odimayo remarked.

Additionally, the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to Hon. Olatubosun Iwalewa, appreciating the timely intervention that would go a long way in sustaining their families amidst rising costs of living.

The event was graced by prominent political figures, including Hon. Afolabi Iwalewa and Dr. Eric Olagbayi, among others.
