Confessions should be born out of conviction.

Ever wondered why people make certain confessions in church on Sunday, then go all through the week living contrary?
They're not convinced of what they are saying!

Confessions can strengthen conviction, but it can't birth it.
When you make confessions, sincerely ask yourself: am I really persuaded of this?

It's not enough to say
I'll live to serve the Lord all my days.
Are you really persuaded of that fact?

Life's circumstances will always put our confessions to the test. And it's then we'll see if we truly are persuaded of what we confess.
Go for conviction.

Am I truly convinced that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus?
Am I persuaded of the love of God for me?
Am I convinced that God's power never fails?
Am I convinced that my life has no meaning outside a devotion to the ministry of Christ?

Be persuaded
so when the storms come, you won't begin to stammer because your mind has begun to waver.
