The command of Jesus is for his followers to love all. This is something so many other religions and creeds have copied. However, being saved is beyond walking in love. To be eternally saved is like a football match. You either win (perfect righteousness) or lose (imperfections and sins), and there is no draw (stalemate) in the algorithm of being saved eternally. This is where Jesus dying on the cross for the sins of the world come in. To be saved, we must believe in the selfless act of Jesus dying for our sins on the cross, after which, we shall freely receive the gift of the Holy Spirit and righteousness. Only then can we truly live a life of love. This is why we see many religions and creeds advocating that they stand for peace and love, but in reality, they are the exact definition of hate.
