In Nigeria and across many parts of Africa, politics has evolved not into a tool for service and transformation, but into a mystical circle: a closed, darkened loop where power rotates among the same hands, the same families, the same deceivers guided not by vision or merit, but by secrecy, sorcery, manipulation, and unbroken covenants of betrayal.
This mystical circle is not a symbol of wisdom it is a shrine of stagnation.
It is a spiritual, cultural, and psychological entrapment, where politics becomes a ritual of illusion, and leadership becomes the domain of those who swear allegiance to hidden altars not to the people.

WHAT IS THE MYSTICAL CIRCLE OF OUR POLITICS?
• A cycle where the same corrupt figures are recycled under new banners and slogans.
• A network where power is transferred, not earned kept within a covenant of deception.
• A system where public offices are accessed through rituals, cultism, and blood oaths, not through competence or integrity.
• A platform where truth is silenced, and only those who bow to the circle are allowed to rise.
It is mystical because it cannot be questioned without consequence. It is circular because it leads nowhere.

THE EFFECT ON SOCIETY
• Citizens become hypnotised by slogans but see no real change.
• Society loses its ability to question fear, apathy, and hopelessness take over.
• Youths lose faith in hard work and turn to quick riches, crime, or emigration.

Name the betrayers. Break the silence.
2. Reconstruct the Leadership Recruitment System
Only men and women of verifiable character and performance history should be allowed into public office. Create a new vetting structure based on service, not spiritual secrecy.
3. Reorient the Masses through Political Education
The people must stop voting for charm. They must vote for character. Teach them to recognise performance, not personality cults.
4. Spiritual Cleansing of Public Institutions
Let every political aspirant take both constitutional and traditional oaths not just before men, but before the gods of their land. Let the land judge those who break their vows.
5. Restore Meritocracy
Destroy the altar of nepotism and mediocrity. Reward hard work, competence, and patriotism — not those who kneel in the circle of corruption.

MERIT: THE KEY TO BREAK THE CIRCLE
Merit is the hammer that shatters mystical politics.
When leaders are chosen by what they can do, not who they know or where they kneel, the circle will collapse.
