The power limiter sets the maximum watts a user can utilize, such as restricting usage to that of a TV, fan, and sound system, which totals around 700W. If the user exceeds this limit, the device will automatically shut off their power supply.

There are various types of limiters available, including one commonly used in the USA. Unlike in Nigeria, power companies in the USA utilize power limiters to manage consumption instead of cutting off the power supply.
