Gas don finally humble me

Yesterday, I stood in front of my gas cylinder and we looked at each other like two people ending a relationship.

I went to refill it, and when the gas seller told me the price, I laughed. He didn’t laugh back. That’s when I knew the situation was serious.

I carried the cylinder home, cleaned it, snapped a farewell picture, and sold it. With the money, I bought firewood.

Now every morning, my neighbors hear kpa-kpa-kpa behind my house and think I’m starting a furniture business. One even asked, Bro, are you opening a sawmill?

I said, No o, I’m just trying to boil water without taking a loan

But here’s the lesson: Life may force you to change your method, but never your mission. If Plan A becomes expensive, Plan B is not failure, it’s wisdom.

I nearly fought my generator because of one lesson it taught me…

One night, NEPA took light. I quickly switched on my generator. Within minutes, my neighbors started charging phones, watching TV, and enjoying the light. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The moment fuel finished and the generator stopped, everybody disappeared like magicians.

That’s when I laughed and learned something.

People will celebrate you when you’re useful, but the real ones will stay even when you have nothing to offer.

Value the people who stand with you during both light and darkness.

I learned lessons from my empty pockets

One afternoon, I checked my account balance before entering a restaurant. I saw the amount and immediately changed my destination. 🤣

As I was walking home, I saw a man smiling while eating ordinary bread and tea. That’s when it hit me…

Happiness isn’t always about having everything you want. Sometimes it’s appreciating what you already have.

Many people are waiting for big blessings before they smile, while others are smiling and attracting bigger blessings.

I just discovered that poverty can make somebody become a detective🤣🤣

Yesterday, I heard a sound in my kitchen at 2 a.m. I carried a torchlight, checked under the table, behind the fridge, everywhere.

After 30 minutes, I finally found the source of the noise…

Na my stomach dey remind me say the rice wey remain no reach breakfast. 🤣

Life fit be hard sometimes, but don’t laugh less because of your problems. The same God that gave you strength to survive yesterday will help you win tomorrow.
