1 YOUTH 2 SKILLS PROJECT CAMPAIGN MOVES TO CHURCHES.

Mr Commissioner for Youth Development Anambra State Hon. Patrick Agha Mba, took the campaign of 1 Youth 2 Skills Project to Sure Foundation Gospel & Power Assembly Church at Awada in line with Mr Governor's manifesto of massive empowerment and creating of youth millionaires annually which Mr Commissioner and his team are working tirelessly towards the actualization

Addressing the Congregation Mr Commissioner stated that youth development and empowerment is at the heart of Gov. Charles Chukwuma Soludo's Government, sensitized them on the need to key into the 1 Youth 2 Skills program and urged them to spread the information across board which the registration will commence on 1st of February 2023.

Immediately the church ended Mr Commissioner who was accompanied by his Amiable wife Mrs Chizoba Agha Mba and team went straight to Obosi at the resident of the Youth Leader where he sensitize the youth of the community on the need to participate in the project of 1 Youth 2 Skills Solution.

The project was launched last year 2022 to empower the youth within the 187 communities of Anambra State to be self-sufficient in order to reduce crimes and criminality caused by unemployment in the county, the program which started with 5,000 pilot trainees has recorded a huge success prompting the state government to increase the target to 130,000 youths across Anambra.

Mr Commissioner and his team has had town hall meetings with community leaders across the three senatorial zones in Anambra state which was to enable them mobilize the youth at their various communities to benefit from the project.

Now the campaign is being taken to churches for them to be part of this drive that will lead to the destination of bigger target in fulfillment of Mr Governor's campaign promises.

The skill acquisition program is one of the efforts of the state government towards tackling youth restiveness and insecurity in the State.
