ASHDC MD Hands Over After Four Years of Meritorious Service

The Managing Director of the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation (ASHDC), Awka, Hon. Chike Anyaonu, has formally handed over the affairs of the Corporation to the most senior management staff, Barr. Nkolika Ebede, in line with the appropriate directives.

The handover marks the conclusion of four years of dedicated and impactful service by Hon. Anyaonu, whose tenure was characterized by commitment, growth, and strategic development within the Corporation.
While handing over, he expressed appreciation to the Board, Management, Staff, and stakeholders for their support and cooperation throughout his administration.

In her remarks, Barr. Nkolika Ebede assured of continuity, stability, and sustained progress in the Corporation’s operations pending further directives.

The entire ASHDC family wishes Hon. Chike Anyaonu well in his future endeavors and reaffirms its commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Historic Inauguration as Governor Soludo and Deputy Ibezim Take Oath for Second Tenure in Anambra

The atmosphere in Anambra State was filled with excitement and renewed hope as the Executive Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo (CFR, Oluatuegwu), and his Deputy, Onyekachukwu Ibezim, were officially sworn in for a new tenure in office today.

The colourful ceremony attracted a distinguished gathering of national and regional leaders, including the Vice President of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, as well as former Presidents Goodluck Jonathan and Olusegun Obasanjo.

Also present were former Anambra governors Chris Ngige and Dame Virgy Etiaba, alongside representatives of Southeast governors, including the governors of Delta State, Ebonyi State and Enugu State, who attended through their deputies.

The event further drew an array of political leaders, revered traditional rulers including the Ooni of Ife, captains of industry, business moguls and entrepreneurs such as Emeka Offor, Obi Jackson, Cletus Ibeto and Joseph Ezeokafor among many other dignitaries.

The impressive turnout of leaders across politics, traditional institutions and the business community reflects the widespread support and confidence in Governor Soludo’s leadership and vision for a greater and more prosperous Anambra State.

The ceremony marks the beginning of another chapter in the journey toward sustainable development, economic transformation and improved welfare for Ndi Anambra.
