A 22 year old young man, is currently doing his NYSC.

He is the first child, out of 5 siblings.

His father is the eldest amongst his siblings.

The young man has been the one managing his father's finances for about 5 years, with no issues.

Always giving proper account to his father, and there has been peace.

Suddenly, his father withdrew that privilege from him, for no just reasons.

When he asked his father for his reasons, the father told him that he did nothing wrong, and that it was just his decision.

However, the young man still has access to the emails, where he sees transaction alerts of his father and his business.

Ever since, his father has been telling them that he doesn't have money for basic things that he used to provide in the house.

If his mother asks for money for the children, he'll always say that he doesn't have money. But he gives money to his siblings.

The one that broke the camel's back happened recently.

The young man noticed that his father had transferred the sum of N1m to his brother's wife.

And he did that on the same day, when he asked his father for money to buy gas in the house.

The father told him that he had no money.

He decided to confront his father.

The father then told him that his brother's wife needed the money for her business. And that he should not tell anyone about it, including his mother.

He thought this was strange.

Few days later, the father told him that his brother's wife has returned the N1m.

But it turned out to be a lie.

The father had used another account of his, to transfer another N1m to the brother's wife, & asked her to send it back through that company's account.

Which was the "evidence" that he showed to his son.

His father has been the one helping his siblings. Assisting them with school fees, & other things.

This particular brother's wife hates his mother, & doesn't like to associate with her, or his children that much.

He reported his father to his mother, without telling her the exact amount of N1m.

The mother called her, to ask her if she has been doing any business transactions with her husband?

She didn't get any reasonable replies, and she hung the call on his mother.

He's so confused & angry.

He doesn't recognize his once loving, providing & caring father anymore, and he needs advise on how to go about it.

After reading his DM, I felt really bad.

This is Africa.

And we know that black magic (juju) works.

Could this be the case of his father?

Remember that I have been teaching about envy and silent hatred amongst siblings these past days.

And how the wife & children of the most benevolent sibling, are the most hated or envied.
