Koncepts Knowledge Factory
Koncepts Knowledge Factory is a learning tool that cuts across all boarders
In most cases, the widow keep addressing herself as "Mrs" even when she is no longer married and can remarry. The eye in administration of estate to protect her children from her late husband's relatives is one major reason a widow would not remarry.
A widower is more handicapped in the circumstance especially where there are (very young) children. He would surely need a helping hand to cover the gap created by the bereavement.
If the helping hand performs as expected, the man usually would fall in love again to avoid been found wanting after the injunction to remarry instead of committing adultery.
The man's most convincing point is noting that there is a healthy bond between the help and his children (some women pretend to love the kids just to get through to the man's heart but turn into monsters when they finally come in)
Once a family emanates from a marriage and a partner dies, the unfortunate sentiments tilt towards the welfare of the children more than the surviving partner.
It is therefore adviced that couples should make deliberate plans for their children's future education at least if anything happens.
Too many people lost bearing in life as a result of the death of the family's bread winner and this should not be so.
There is great wisdom in the advice of proverbs 24 vs 27.
There are numerous child-centred Insurance policies to explore and very many other ways to preserve a safe and decent future for the children.
Think about it
What happens to the family when death takes Mother, Father or Both?
There are just two major Associations for a married man and woman. They are ;
(1) Spiritual Associations.
We are at freedom to choose which faith to profess among the available in one's vicinity and it is advised that it should be given adequate allegiance for spiritual strength and growth.
(2) Economic Associations.
This has two types ;
(a) Professional Associations and
(b) Cooperative Society/Societies.
While Professional Associations are statutory as it were, the main purpose of being there is to earn genuine income,
the Cooperative Society is most times accompanied by Thrift arrangements.
Cooperative is a collective pool of funds for use in bulk purchase with the aim of getting a cheaper unit cost to the members though there are many other economic advantages that membership of a cooperative would accrues to their members like securing low interest loans, sometimes grants.
The Thrift Society is where you contribute certain amount of money on periodic basis, daily, weekly, monthly etc with the intention of collecting your total contribution in cash at the end of the year though some groups may contribute and give to each member in turns every week, month or as agreed within them.
The primary aim of both is to save money from cheaper earlier means of purchase and a means of saving for bulk cash for designated purposes.
Any other Association might just be Social in nature and nothing drains a married man or woman than fighting hard to live up to the club's expectations to avoid being sidelined or losing a right (which sometimes are never realised due to the criminal elements in the group)
Extreme care should be taken by the married before joining any bond that would not give both immediate and sustained benefit to every member of the family.
