It is with joy in my heart and with a great sense of responsibility that I announced my appointment and subsequent inauguration as a member of the Governing Board of the Nigerian Research and Education Network (NgRENT) and the Tertiary Education Research Applications and Services (TERAS) Integration. The constitution of the governing board is a significant milestone in our collective effort to strengthen Nigeria’s research and education infrastructure and to position our institutions for global competitiveness.

The formal constitution of this board sets the foundation for purposeful and strategic engagement in driving digital transformation across our tertiary education and research landscape. I am confident that the work before me and the entire board will open new frontiers in connectivity, innovation, and knowledge sharing. These elements are indeed essential for a vibrant and future ready educational system.

I am humbled by the privilege to serve and contribute to this transformative initiative. My sincere appreciation goes to the Honourable Minister of Education for this appointment and for the confidence reposed in me.
