THE CHURCH’S DEFINITION OF WEALTH TODAY IS MOSTLY WRONG...

Many believers are chasing what heaven never promised and celebrating what heaven does not reward.

We have built a Christianity that speaks kingdom language, but think with worldly dictionaries. Interestingly, it did not start today.

LOOK AT THIS!

“I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich)…”
Revelation 2:9

The Church in Smyrna was broke by earthly standards, persecuted, marginalized, and economically weak. Yet Christ called them rich.

This exposes a disturbing truth: men’s conclusions can be spiritually inaccurate.

• Heaven saw wealth where earth saw poverty.
• Heaven saw inheritance where men saw suffering.
• Heaven saw glory where culture saw failure.

The real tragedy today is not poverty in the world, it is misdefined wealth in the Church.

Today, we measure success by visibility, prosperity by currency, greatness by followers, power by platform, and peace by comfort.

Now, in doing this, we are applauding what heaven may be rejecting.

“That which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.”
Luke 16:15

WATCH THIS!

▪︎ A believer can be materially rich yet spiritually bankrupt.
▪︎ A ministry can trend online yet be unknown in eternity.
▪︎ A Christian can be celebrated by crowds yet grieve heaven.
▪︎ A hidden, persecuted Church can be heaven’s treasure.

“Thou sayest, I am rich… and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor…”
Revelation 3:17

This is the terrifying paradox: self-declared prosperity can indeed be poverty from the point of divinity.

The Church’s current danger is not persecution, it is misinterpretation.
We are chasing outcomes God never promised and neglecting realities He deeply rewards.

If the world defines your success, it will also define your pursuits, goals, and fears.

If material and mundane things define your prosperity, they will control your sense of worth and compromises.

If applause defines your relevance and acceptance, truth will become negotiable.

LET'S BE UNEQUIVOCALLY CLEAR HERE :

Heaven’s evaluation is the only one that matters.
Heaven’s definition is the only one that is accurate.
Heaven’s verdict can and often contradict every earthly opinion.

When heaven disagrees with earth, heaven is right.

• The greatest poverty is not financial lack.
It is life without divine presence.

• The greatest wealth is not possession of money.
It is possession of God.

Until the Church recovers kingdom meanings, she will keep chasing worldly rewards while losing eternal realities.

The next revival will not begin with louder prayers.
It will begin with corrected definitions. Because whoever defines your words ultimately defines your destiny.

May the Lord help us all.
