BREAKING: US President Donald Trump has threatened to launch a large-scale military attack on Iran if it attempts to assassinate him.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the US military was prepared to "completely decimate and destroy" Iran and claimed orders had already been given for a response if such an attack were carried out.
