ENFORCEMENT

Enforcement officers on patrol to monitor compliance with ban of using tyres and polythe materials in roasting of animals parts in Bauchi metropolis.some animals part were seized by officers in violation of the law for further action.

FLAG-OFF OF OPEN DEFECATION-FREE CAMPAIGN AND ENDING CHOLERA ADVOCACY IN JAMA’ARE LGA

The Bauchi State Environmental Protection Agency (BASEPA) participated in an advocacy campaign to end cholera and achieve open defecation-free status in Bauchi State.

The project, sponsored by the Sanitation and Hygiene Fund through WaterAid, aimed to demonstrate a strong commitment to improving public health, sanitation, and hygiene practices within our communities.

The program was attended by: the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Sani Mohammed Dambam; the Director General of BASEPA, Dr. Mahmud Mohammed Bose; the Emir of Jama’are, Alh. Ahmed Mohammed Wabi Mni; WaterAid Project Lead, Mr. Mashat Mallo; the AGM of RUWASSA; the Chairman of Jama’are LGA; traditional title holders; and other dignitaries.
