WORLD LIONS SERVICE DAY 2025 🦁✨️

On the 25th of July, the Calabar Unique Leo Club in collaboration with the Calabar Golden Leo Club held an impactful Orientation and Club Officers Training at Armany Hotel, Mekenge (off Marian Road, Calabar).

The session was facilitated by the ever-dynamic 🦁 Lion Evalsam Ekpe, who delivered an interactive and highly educative training that left all members inspired and ready to serve.

After the training, both clubs successfully held their first general meeting for the new Lion Service Year setting the tone for a purposeful and impactful year ahead🎉.

After a careful needs assessment due to the season(rainy season) we are in Calabar, the Calabar Unique Leo Club decided to carry out a service project of donating rain coats to pupils in Presbyterian church of Nigeria primary school, Akim qua town, Calabar on this day the 18th of July 2025.
This project was to help pupils cope with the rainy season, by being available to school on time whilst securing their writing materials from water infiltration.
It was a huge fulfilment to watch the smiles on their faces as we solved this need.
We thank all who contributed financially, morally and even by showing up to celebrate with us 🥹✨.
We thank the school management for allowing us fulfil our little bid of service to humanity and the teachers for properly coordinating their pupils.

We pray for the wit and grit to touch more lives in our community.

In commemoration of the world football day, we hosted a novelty football match versus Rotary club of Unical.
It was was an intense game between the two biggest service organization.
