WALKING IN THE LIGHT

Scripture:
"This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all." - 1 John 1:5 (NIV)

Reflection:
God is light, and walking in His light means living according to His truth and guidance.

Jesus said, “I am the light of the world, he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life” (John 8:12).

The World is seeking for light amidst the gross darkness they grope in, however there is no light anywhere outside Christ. It is in Christ only we found light and truth.

In the search for light outside Christ, the world has been deceived into falsehood of occultism and false religious practices.

The true light that lightens everyone that comes into the world is in Christ. When you embrace Christ, you embrace the truth and the light of God.

In Christ is life eternal, and the life is the light all men seeks, which is immortality.

“In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. “That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. John‬ ‭1‬:‭4, 9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When we received Christ, we received his life which is the light of men. We walked out of darkness into his marvelous light, and from death to life eternal (John 5:24).

The moment we come to Christ, we become the light of the world. We are call to shine the light by walking in the truth of Christ and leading others to know him.

No one who is in Christ walks in darkness and cannot be conquered by darkness (John 1:5).

Let's focus on walking in the light of Christ and seeking God's guidance for our everyday life.

Daily Bible Reading:
Matthew 5: 14-16, 1 John 1:7

Actions Plan Today:
Know that receiving Christ in your life is receiving the light of God. Walk in the consciousness of the light you have and the light you are in Christ.

Daily Declarations:
I have the light of God in me, I also have the life of God in me. I walk in the light of life. I walk out of death into the realms of life eternal. Amen.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, help me focus on walking in Your light. Give me the wisdom and understanding to seek Your continuous guidance. Amen.

GRACE AND FORGIVENESS

Scripture:
"And when you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins," - Colossians 2:13 (NIV)

Reflection:
God's grace brings forgiveness and newness of life to all who believe.

Christ death on the cross and resurrection to glory releases God’s abundant grace and mercy to forgive sins.

We were made alive to live with Christ by God’s grace when he graciously forgave all our sins through Christ’s blood.

Forgiveness of sins is an act of God’s grace alone and not a process of human’s efforts (Eph. 2:8-9).

You were not forgiven because you fasted with crying, neither were you forgiven because you confessed your sins. No! It was because Christ paid for your sins.

By his grace, he forgave our sins, and by his grace he saved us!

While receiving forgiveness is a key part of the Christian life, we should learn to extend the same grace of forgiveness in our relationships with one another.

Let's prioritize extending forgiveness to others.

Daily Bible Reading:
Col. 1:14, Eph. 1: 7, Col. 3: 13.

Actions Plans Today:
If you have received forgiveness and salvation by God’s Grace, then learn to exercise forgiveness and mercy towards others with an open heart.

Daily Declarations:
All my sins are forgiven in Christ by God’s grace because Christ paid it all, I am saved by God’s grace. Therefore, I live a life of love and forgiveness.

Prayer:
Dear God, help me extend forgiveness to others. Help me not to hold grudges and bitterness against anyone. Amen.

LIVING IN HIS GRACE

Scripture:
"So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him," - Colossians 2:6 (NIV)

Reflection:
Let's live in the freedom and empowerment of God's grace.

Living in the fullness of Christ’s love is to experience the fullness of God’s grace.

Christ is the manifestation of God’s grace, and all who receive him are empowered to a life of liberty and dominion over sin and death.

The Grace of God is found in the person of Christ and Christ alone.

In Christ we are empowered to live righteously and victorious through the Grace we have received in him.

Living in God's grace means relying on His undeserved favor and unmerited kindness, rather than human effort, to navigate life's challenges and experience spiritual growth.

By receiving His grace, we are also empowered to live godly lives, experience contentment amidst hardship, and serve others with thankfulness and joy.

To enjoy God’s abundant grace, the believer’s life must be dependent on Christ and the Word of His Grace alone.

Living In Christ is living in His Grace. You receive grace by receiving Christ Jesus the Lord.

Daily Bible Reading:
John 1: 16-17, Col. 2:6, 3:16, 2 Tim. 2:1

Actions Plan Today:
In Christ you have received God’s abundant grace to live victoriously every day. Live your life in Christ with the consciousness of God’s Grace at work in you.

Daily Declarations:
In Christ, I can do all things, because I have received God’s abundant grace.

Prayer:
Lord, help me live in the freedom and empowerment of Your grace. Give me the wisdom and motivation to walk in Your ways. Amen.
