It is a huge honour first of all to be welcomed in the humble abode of the Hon. Member representing the good people of Yakurr 1 state constituency in the person of Hon. Cyril James Omini.
It is also crystal clear that I am from Mkpani which is under the Yakurr 2 state constituency, that’s to say on a nutshell he is not representing my constituency and as such would had not had come up with a project of this nature for him or would had allowed members of his constituency to do that, but truth be told, what originally led to my intention to carry out this project “Ab initio” is the clear fact that He in question is not a person who looks at tribes, constituency, village, state or local government to extend his benevolent to anyone.
Truth be told Hon. Cyril had left a hallmark or had set a pace in the political atmosphere of Cross River State for others to follow therein. His pattern of politics is beyond what we are known for as a people.
He is a philanthropist
A good listener
A role model
And a good messenger who is actually doing the exact thing and beyond of what his constituents sent him in the state house of Assembly.
It is on this note I personally came up with the idea of supporting his administration with some Dozens of customised writing materials tagged “ EDUCATION FOR THE YAKURR CHILD” and presented to him in the company of my Amiable Boss in the person of Pastor Ijo Obol who is also not relenting in his normal ways of helping people and linking them to the right persons.
On this I will say a big thank you to the Honourable, My Boss, my good friend Bassey Bassey Abam who came with us for giving me this wonderful opportunity to do this.
Long live Hon. Cyril Omini
Long live the good people of Yakurr.

Jesus Christ was not Crucified he was Murdered.
Crucifixion in the context of that testament in that Era, was the punishment for an established crime. The court in Nigeria in Aoko Vs Fagbemi (1961) 1 ANLR 400 had said that no man should face punishment for any offense that was not an established crime as when he face trial.
As at that time the offense Jesus Christ was charged was not an established crime as at that time, that’s number one.
Secondly he went through trial, the judge in that trial was Pilate, Pilate gave a judgement that I find no fault in him, there was no evidence to a commission of a crime, he still went ahead to execute him, brother that was not a punishment, it was a clear case of murder.
My only pain as a law student now is that I never had the opportunity to recommend a good lawyer for Jesus😭
Let me be Call to Bar first i sue and sue and sue the Sadducee’s and Pharisees, I hope say Judas Iscariot family still Dey I will sue all of them.
Happy Easter in Advance

The custom and traditions of any place is the identity of the people.
In law for a custom to be enforceable in court it must past the following test
1. The repugnancy test, natural justice, equity and good conscience
2. Incompatibility test
3. Public policy test
The Yakurr customs particularly Mkpani is well known for her good cultural history or heritage.
The idea of “MKPANI IS ONE” is not casted in stones, it is indeed a settled matter and not a debatable one with some cogent reasons.
Dispute is inevitable amongst men and animals. They will surely come and go but the customs and traditions of our people remains.
See the euphoria in the celebration of the past Mkpani Leboku.
Indeed “MKPANI IS ONE”.

DID WE EVER ASKED FOR TOO MUCH?
At this point all Nigerians need to stay in touch because we no get light to see front and money no still Dey to buy torch, all we ever wanted was a working country
We no say light no fit dey steady, but we still appreciated the little time with it we were getting.
We grew up knowing to praise the presence of electricity in our country that is how much you guys did us Dirty😡
UP NEPA😕
Coming from people that have not had lights for the past one week and at the end of the month they will still bring ridiculous bills to our houses, breadwinners go want weak.
For too long we have been suffering and smiling,
100 naira detergent no dey but after every 4 years we still deciding to keep this slate clean.
We are Nigerians🤧 best in being optimistic, and you may think it’s a joke, but the lulu in the solulu has actually been our invincible yardstick.
We go complain but at the end of the day we will let bygones be bygones, but stilll nothing had changed, instead it’s feeling like all our hopes are gone, just wait until we buy guns, because I don’t think this matter go back and forth and in all of this fight innocent Nigerians have fought.
I’m only a teenager but I watched one egg go from 25 to 200 naira, how much will it be when I become your father?.
I have only one question
DID WE EVER ASKED FOR TOO MUCH!?.
Happy Sunday and a new week to all of us as we try again.
