Empowerment Na Water: Zamfara Councillor Gifts Bags Of Charcoal And Charcoal Pressing Irons To Constituents

Councillor Abubakar Muhammad Tahir from Mayana Ward in Gusau, Zamfara State, gave people bags of charcoal and locally made charcoal pressing irons.

He said it was to help them start small businesses like washing and ironing clothes, because electricity is not always there.

Some people said it was good initiatives for the community, but many Nigerians are very worried and angry. They think charcoal and irons are too small and not enough help when life is very hard, prices are high, and people are poor.

They ask: Why give only this instead of real money, training, or better things to really change lives?

Many feel it looks like the leaders do not care enough about real problems.
