People have asked this question a lot and it gives us lots of joy to know that these people are being intentional about their businesses and its formation.

How do I know the kind of registration (Corporate or Business) that will be suitable for my business?

This question mostly comes from entrepreneurs that are commencing the registration of their business at the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

Most of them have been told that incorporating a private limited company can be expensive and very demanding, or a business name though easier to operate and register will not take you very far in your business ventures as there are certain limitations placed on business name registration.

The above opinions can be true and valid sometimes, other times they are just overrated and equally undermined and thus misleading.

In my opinion, the registration that will fit any business should be determined by the kind of business structure created by the entrepreneur or business owner.
