It is good to desire good things but it is a waste of time desiring without making the effort to achieve those desires. Many Christians spend so much time praying and little effort trying to work hard with their hands. This is the time for you to work diligently for what you desire in life.

There are two things the Lord does — to either lift man up or humble him. So why not choose humility so he has no choice but to lift you up!

Trusting in your own abilities apart from God only brings failure. Education, skills etc are good but will not get you anywhere without God. There are many who are more skillful than Messi and yet we don't know them. Trust in the Lord with 'all' your heart.
