The teaching emphasizes that true followership of Christ is not defined by excitement or passion alone, but by the sacrifice, preparation, and commitment behind it. God’s standards for His Kingdom do not change, and grace is available — but following Christ requires intentional decision.

A real follower is proven by what they are willing to leave behind. It is not enough to start well; consistency matters. One must be prepared personally, not depending on “borrowed tools” or someone else’s strength. Serving God must be a deliberate, exclusive choice. True worship is measured by sincere motives, not just words.
