I gave Conductor 2k for Ajah, See what Happened - Always Ask questions when entering a Bus

I entered bus from Obalande going to Ajah, so normally it's #1,200 that I do pay, i didn't ask price I entered, time to pay, I gave 2k and told the man Ajah, and was waiting for change,
But something felt off in me,
(Meanwhile Ajah was 1k, and lakwe 1500 there about)
I started watching others that were paying, I noticed they were giving 1k for Ajah,
I now asked someone beside me the amount for Ajah, he said 1k.

In my mind I was like haa, 1k but I gave the conductor 2k and told him Ajah, yet he didn't return 1k back to me.

I was like oga my money!!, he said he's coming!!
I waited, meanwhile some conductors don't follow the bus after collecting money,

I called again, he said he's coming,

He then came to the window side I was sitting and was giving me #600 that he will balance me #200,
I said oga you are to give me 1k, Na Ajah I dey go.
He then gave me the money.

I was like haa it's good to be checking around when entering a vehicle and ask questions oo
