GOMBE STATE UNIVERSITY UNVEILS WATER FOUNTAIN, SIGNPOST TO ENHANCE CAMPUS BEAUTY

The Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Gombe State University, Prof. Baba Yusuf Abubakar, alongside the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sani Ahmed Yauta, members of the Governing Council, and the University Management, unveiled and commissioned two projects aimed at further beautifying the University environment.

The projects include a water fountain strategically located at the central roundabout on campus and a newly constructed signpost at the University's main entrance.

Speaking during the commissioning ceremony, the Pro-Chancellor commended the Vice-Chancellor and the University Management for sustaining the vision of the pioneer Vice-Chancellor, the late Professor Abdullahi Mahdi, to make Gombe State University one of the most beautiful university campuses in Nigeria.

He lauded the successful ex*****on of the projects, describing them as significant additions that have enhanced the University's aesthetics while creating a more serene and conducive environment for teaching, learning, and research.

The commissioning reflects Professor Yauta's and Gombe State University's continued commitment to infrastructural development and environmental excellence, in line with the University's vision of providing a world-class academic environment.
