Business owners, we can all learn a thing or two from Jehovah’s Witnesses. Their house-to-house evangelism demonstrates impressive marketing skills, and their resilience and determination are traits worth learning.

Many times, I have personally told these individuals that I'm not interested, yet they keep coming back. In fact, one visited in the early hours today.

Now, hold on!

I'm not suggesting you become a nuisance or keep returning to places where it's clear you're not welcome.But there’s value in borrowing a few ideas from their approach to try physically marketing your brand or business within your community — of course, strategically and with style.

For instance, you might leave a few flyers at your place of worship or talk about something that subtly hints at your expertise during community meetings.

I'm not saying you have to do this. I’m just saying there’s no harm in trying.

But, as always, be mindful of security.
