During the morning presentation on the "True meaning of Christmas", Mr. Tomiwa Akinmoladun, the Laboratory Manager, emphasized that the season is a time to share with our loved ones. He illustrated this spirit of generosity by giving gifts to some hygiene staff members, selected through a lottery. Those who picked a "Yes" were automatically qualified to receive his gifts.

We deeply appreciate Mr. Tomiwa for this wonderful act of kindness, which serves as an inspiration for all staff members to extend similar gestures of love and generosity during this festive season.

The staff at St. Dominic Catholic Hospital underwent an updated training on Malaria in Pregnancy and Intermittent Preventive Treatment (IPT), facilitated by Dr. Dare Olowokere and Matron Alolade Ajoke. The training covered essential topics, including the National Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Malaria, the management of malaria during pregnancy, proper completion of ANC registers, and the application of IPT. The primary goal of the training was to equip staff members with the skills to accurately diagnose malaria, treat uncomplicated malaria, discuss the implications of malaria in pregnancy, and identify barriers to adherence to the national treatment guidelines for malaria.
