*Double Celebration: Awujale donates Engineering Complex to Ọba Adetona College of Education*

The highly esteemed mornach, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebu-land has again contributes to development of education sector, with focus on science and technology.

This was as the Awujale on Thursday donates Engineering and Technology Complex to Ọba Sikiru Adetona College of Education Science and Technology, Omu Àjọṣe, Ogun State.

The donation was part of developmental projects, marking 90 years birthday and 64 years coronation anniversary of the world longest reigning monarch.

Oluwaseun SH*TTU of Lion FM reports that wife of the Celebrant, Olori Kemi Adetona represented her husband at the turning of Sod ceremony held at the college.

Speaking at the occasion, provost of the college, Dr. Lukuman Kiadese describes the Awujale as a monarch with unwavering commitment to fostering innovation, nurturing talents and preparing future future generation of leaders in field of engineering and technology.

While laying the foundation of the 'Oba Adetona Engineering and Technology Complex' on behalf of the Monarch, Olori Kemi noted that Oba Adetona's desire to support the college in area of science and technology was borne out of his unending love for education and believe to create legacies for coming generations.

Role call of traditional rulers at the occasion include Orimolusi of Ijebu-Igbo Oba Lawrence Adebajo, Limeri of Awa Oba Abeeb Awobajo, Ogiri Madagbo of Ilodo Oba Isiaka Ajede among others were in attendance to celebrate with their President Oba Sikiru Adetona, Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebu-land.

Earlier Oba Adetona commissioned refurbished Itoro Hall by Awujale Council of Otunba in Ijebu Ode and refurbished agemo statue at Itoro round about by Council of Awujale Chiefs.

The Mornach also commissioned Statue of Oba Adetona by Egbe Bobagunte Obirin Akile Ijebu.

The three projects were to commemorate, the 90th birthday and 64th coronation anniversary of the Awujale and Paramount Ruler of Ijebu-land, His Imperial Majesty Oba Sikiru Adetona.
